NOORPUR THAL - The inhabitants of Urban Union Council are facing multiple problems like dilapidated roads, polluted potable water and poor sewerage system which also reflect the negligence and indifference of the authorities concerned.

Noor Gul Khan and Raja Muhammad Najim, residents of the area, told this scribe that the uncovered sewerage nullah that passed through urban area was not only a big risk but also a cause to sudden outbreak of diseases. The open gutter holes on the roads are also a threat to little children.

According to them, many applications in this regard were forwarded to the authorities concerned but to no avail. The illegal taxi and rickshaw stands in Kashmir Chowk are creating a traffic mess and problem for the inhabitants. A lot of complaints were made to the officials but met with no response, the residents complained.

PML-N to win polls with majority: PML-N Khushab District Youth Wing Chief Organizer Malik Imran Bashir Awan has expressed confidence that his party will bag two-thirds majority in the coming general elections and asked the workers to start preparations for the elections without wasting time.

He was addressing a corner meeting here the other day.

He pointed out that the PPP and its allies had given nothing to the country but crises, and they must prepare themselves to return the looted money instead of dreaming of another tenure after the elections. He said that the party workers were the backbone of the PML-N. A campaign to emancipate people through corner meetings had been launched, he added.

PML-N local leaders Malik Muhammad Khalid Awan, Malik Aziz Hussain and Muhammad Amin were also present on the occasion.
