PESHAWAR - Workers of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Upper Dir, have demanded of the party central leadership to exclude former federal minister and MNA from Dir Najmuddin Khan from party provincial parliamentary committee, as he harm party interests in the area.

Addressing a news conference here at press club on Friday, PPP Upper Dir worker Haji Sher Bahadar said that the incumbent MNAs have not been made any developmental work in the area. He also alleged that PPP former federal minister for SAFRON has been made a large scale corruption and harmed the party in district Dir, as the stated minister himself claimed that he were got above seven billion rupees for developmental work but practically there is no single developmental project in the entire district.

Flanked by party leader Bakhtzada and other workers, Bahadar said that now Najmuddin wants to contest election at provincial assembly seat and try to drop an MPA.

The existing PPP MPAs were comparatively better than the MNAs’ and party tickets should give to old candidates at provincial assembly seats on priority basis, he maintained. “Earlier Najmuddin had a car only while now he is wandering in a parado and bullet proof car, from where he this brought, they questioned.

They also expressed confidence in party central leadership, and demanded to keep in view the sentiments of the party workers and party interest while conferring party tickets.
