The Punjab government would provide four dialysis machines for Kidney Centre of District Headquarters Hospital here, said a PML-N lawmaker.

MNA Janaid Anwaar Choudry said that he and three MPAs Mian Rafiq, Amjad Ali Javed and Sardar Ayub Gadhi had met with the Punjab chief minister and had him eight existing dialysis machines in the hospital were insufficient. On their request, the CM ordered the provision of four more machines, the MNA added.

Meanwhile, the Government Girls High School of Chak 375/JB Maseeti had been upgraded to the level of higher secondary.MPA Amjad Ali Javed said the CM issued orders. For the construction of a building for intermediate classes in the school, the district development committee also approved the required funds.

However, Punjab Examination Commission’s annual class V examination will start in the district from Monday (today). An officer said 171 examination centres had been set up for the purpose where 31,389 boys and girls students will appear.
