ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) president Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman visited the Pakistan National Squash Academy (PNSA) here at Mushaf Squash Complex on Monday. Squash legends Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan along with members of apex committee and PSF VPs Qamar Zaman and Malik Amjad Ali Noon were also present there. A detailed briefing was given to the PSF president about the performance of top senior and junior players of PNSA during the last year on which the PSF chief expressed his satisfaction over their performance in the PSA tournaments along with winning Asian Junior Individual title and US Junior Championships. Moreover, he emphasized to achieve better ranking in the PSA circuit with the help of planned and focused training. Sohail also assured that the methodology would be continued to provide further assistance to the players including foreign exposure in the future. He stressed upon the upcoming events in year 2016 specifically the World Junior Team Championship. Regarding establishment of regional academies in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, the PSF chief said like always, Pakistan Air Force would continue to provide all the resources for promotion of the game in the country. He directed the regional associations to manage their respective academies on the same lines as of the PNSA.
