ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan yesterday said issuance of new notification of powers of Rangers in Karachi in next few days would give a strong and positive message about the Karachi operation.

The CM Sindh Minister agreed with the interior minister and said after the meeting of the Cabinet, the provincial government would send a requisition to the federal government for extension of powers of Sindh Rangers in this regard. The wording of the requisition would send a positive message, he added.

He said his invitation to the interior minister to visit Karachi was still intact.
