Rawalpindi - A 17-year-old girl accused 10 men including five real brothers for raping her forcefully in Dhala Village of Murree and recording the sinful act in their mobile phones, sources disclosed to The Nation on Thursday.

She also alleged the gang of 10 for blackmailing her by sharing the videos with the area people and depriving her of cash and gold as well. The girl said that the gang wanted to kill her and her family members.

Police registered a case and began investigation, the sources said.

A senior police officer told The Nation that it was a false case as the girl wanted to expel the accused from the village. He said that SP Saddar Iftikhar Ul Haq had been ordered to hold inquiry into the allegations and solve the case on merit.

According to the sources, Amna Abbasi, daughter of Qaseem, lodged a complaint with Police Station Murree stating that ten men including Haq Nawaz, Billa, Bilal, Nisar, Izhar, Afzal, Jawad, Raja and Waqar had kidnapped and taken her to in a jungle while she was in class five and had raped her repeatedly. She alleged that the gang also recorded video in their mobile phones while assaulting her sexually. She said that later, they blackmailed her that caused breakage of her marriage.

The girl alleged that she got married to a man in her village and started living in his house. She said that she was going to nearby dispensary for check-up when the gang again kidnapped her and took her to Lora village in Murree and detained her in a house. She said that the gang again raped her repeatedly and also took Rs300,000 and gold ornaments from her that she was going to hand over to her father.

She stated that she was denied justice by police which she moved an application to CM Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif. She said that her husband separated from her because of the wrong doings of the gang. She asked the police to arrest the gang.

Talking to The Nation, a senior police officer said that it was a fake and bogus case. He said that the girl belonged to a caste considered superior in Murree whereas the accused were from a family believed to be low caste. He said that the girl had nominated 5 real brothers in the case. “Actually they want to oust them from the village”, he said. He said that the victim had neither mentioned the date nor time of occurrence of crime that made the case suspicious.
