KANDHKOT - People of Kashmore district took to the streets after PPP provincial minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife found 'shot dead' in their Karachi home on Thursday.

People from all walks of life blocked the bypass road of Kandhkot, Kashmore, Karampur and Tangwani. All the markets and bazaars were closed following the media broke the sad news.

Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani was born in 1946 in Kashmore district. He was a senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party. The deceased was elected the member of national assembly four times and member of provincial assembly three times. He is survived by four children, two sons and two daughters. His elder son Shabir Ali Bijrani is also a member of national assembly.


PPP Senator Aajiz Dhamrah grieved over the deaths of the Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife, former MPA Fariha Razzaq, who were found shot dead in their home in Karachi’s Defense Housing Authority.

He expressed his grief over the deaths and termed it a big tragedy and loss for the family and party saying that country had been deprived of a seasonal and sincere politician.

On the other hand, PPP leaders including Badin President Haji Ramzan Chandio, General Secretary Haji Sain Bux Jamali, Information Secretary Fida Hussain Mandhro, MNA Sardar Kamal Khan Chang, Taj Muhammad Mallah, Haji Hanif Khaskheli and others also expressed their grave grief over the mysterious deaths of politician and his wife.
