Bikestan Cycling Academy defends national title

LAHORE - The second day of the 6th National Road Cycling Championship saw current national champions, Bikestan Cycling Academy (BCA), successfully defending their national title. 
According to Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) Secretary General Moazzam Khan Klair, the first event of the day was the women elite team time trial. The BCA added another gold medal to their tally while Punjab and Sindh claimed silver and bronze medals respectively. The men junior road race was a moment of pride for Balochistan as their young ace Ali Akbar cruised to first place. Azaan of Sindh and Afnan Aziz of BCA finished second and third respectively. 
The men elite team time trial was an enthralling spectacle that had spectators on the edge of their seats. BCA came out on top yet again with KPK claiming silver and Sindh taking home bronze medal. The concluding event of the day was the women junior road race, where Remsha of Sindh, Mishaal Tousif of BCA and Sneha of Punjab took the first, second and third potions respectively.
