The year of woes and appalling devastation and deaths has finally come to an end and we all hope and pray that the new year will bring some solace. Nevertheless we did witness some historical moments such as the general elections under the supervision of judiciary, the result of which left winners and losers both weeping. The new government which raised peoples’ hopes and aspirations during election campaign so far has failed miserably to deliver, shattering all expectations .
However, the outgoing year saw some slight improvement in our exports to European Union market free of duty. One can only wish that the new year brings a new era of peace, stability and economic growth.
