Travelling by train is very common in developed countries and in under-developed countries. It is used as a cheaper mode of transportation. Once a thriving business, Pakistan railway has lost most of its charm for the travelers and the rest was achieved by bad mismanagement of the railway ministry. In the last few years, Pakistan saw many rail disasters and now we may be privatizing it. At the moment, the whole structure of the railway has gone from bad to worse.
Non-availability of tickets, broken windows and seats, unhygienic lavatories and worst of all the bad food has made travelers to turn away. At least a few things within the department should have been changed by now but this change is still not visible.
