Bogus charity drive detected; two held

MARDAN - Local police has arrested two persons for allegedly collecting charity in the name of Pak Army and local police at Takhatbhai bazzar.
According to Takhatbhai police station local people informed police that some persons have pasted poster and banners of Pak Army and police official on a motorcar (RIF-7374) and were collecting charity for Madrassa in the name of Pak Army and police.
Police party headed by assistant station house officer (ASHO) Takhatbhai police station raided the spot and arrested two persons identified as Ahmad Ali Khan resident of Nowshera and Zafar Ali resident of Swabi. Police said that they recovered banners and posters, ID card and receipt book and 4830 rupees from the accused and took the motorcar in the custody.
Police on the complaint of ASHO Abidullah Khan registered case against the accused under section 419,420,468,471 and 3/4 Loudspeaker Act and started investigation.
