Dacoits and thieves took away cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other in valuables and shot at and critically injured two persons on resistance in 16 strikes occurred in different parts of the district over the past 48 hours.

In Tatley Wali, four armed men entered the house of Usama and decamped with gold ornaments, Rs15,000 and two cellphones. Robbers intercepted Shamoon and his wife and snatched Rs18,000, gold ornaments and two cellphones in the limits of Cantt Police while Shumail was also deprived of Rs17,000 in the same area.

Dacoits intercepted Tanvir and his wife and deprived them of Rs19,000, gold ornaments and one cellphone in Sohdra. In Nowshera Virkan, bandits snatched Rs25,000, gold ornaments and two cellphones from Najam and his wife. Robbers looted Rs17,000 and a cellphone from Aqeel in Qila Didar Singh. In Kot Ladha, dacoits snatched Rs40,000 and a cellphone from Zulifqar. Hakim Muhammad Ali was deprived of Rs10,000 and three cellphones on gun point in the limits of Ahmed Nagar Chattha. Robbers looted Rs32,000 and two cellphones from Musa in Kot Ladha, In Kamoke Saddr Police area, armed men took away new brand Mehran car from Zeeshan at gunpoint. In different theft incidents new brand motorcycles of Asif, Ahmed Ali, Adeel, Haroon and Noman were stolen from different areas of the city.

Dacoits looted away general store and injured two persons when they offered resistance here in Sulakhanabad.

Meanwhile, three armed men entered in the store and snatched money and valuables. In the meantime, Ali Raza and Maqsood offered resistance. Upon this the dacoits opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result, both received bullet injuries and rushed to DHQ Hospital. The police have registered the case and started investigation.
