ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday announced to protest against the government’s ‘Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme’ stating that this amnesty scheme is a tax on the honest people.
He said that he will oppose the scheme vehemently.
Slamming the government policies yet again, Imran Khan said that the government is making China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) controversial.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, Imran Khan said that the country cannot move forward unless the system is corrected.
Criticising ECP, PTI Chairman said that there is no system in the world where it takes two and half years to get justice.
He said that nothing happened in the ECP over Judicial Commission’s findings.
He alleged that Justice (Retd) Riaz Kiyani wants to save PML-N.
Imran Khan said that the government is making CPEC controversial.
He said that no details of the LNG agreements are being made public.
“The way the foreign policy of the country is being run, it happens only in monarchies”, he said. He wondered whether the rulers believe in democracy or not.
Expressing satisfaction over PTI’s performance, Imran also announced to oppose the amnesty scheme.
