At the sideline of the Paris conference on climate change Nawaz-Modi ‘accidental’ encounter was reported extensively across media networks in both the countries. Modi after stepping in the office vehemently pursued the fascist agenda of ‘Hindutva’ that is communal hegemony. His hard-line Pakistan policy is outcome of this agenda. Nawaz Sharif has never been a hawk, he has always extended olive brach overlooking Modi ‘no talk’ policy, row over cricket, recurrent firing on LOC. We were surprised to see the way embarrassed Modi, walked up to Nawaz Sharif to shake hand. International pressures, his image and defeat in Bihar elections all pushed him to reconsider his flawed policy on Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif’s maturity has overshadowed the premier of a nation of 130 billion.
