LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has sought justice for the victims of Model Town tragedy from Pakistan Army, as they did with the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was chairing a meeting of PAT’s Central Executive Council held today. During the meeting a resolution was presented in which, PAT urged Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif to arrest the mastermind of Model Town incident.

The PAT in the resolution alleged that the incumbent rulers are not providing justice to the victims of the Model Town tragedy, therefore the military should play its role in providing justice to the slain and wounded persons.

It is worth to mention that at least 14 people were killed and more than 90 were reportedly injured, when activists of PAT and Police locked horns in Lahore’s Model Town area.
