VTI staff demands job regularisation

All Punjab Vocational Employees Association (APVEA) Chairman Mehr Nasir Javed, Vice-Chairman Madam Yasmin Akhtar and APVEA local leaders included Malik Muhammad Saeed, Ziad Hussain and Muhammad Khan demanded the provincial government to regularize services of all contract employees of the Vocational Training Institutions (VTI).
Talking to the newsmen, they said that the non-regularisation of their services was illegal, discriminatory and against the principals of the justice. They requested the Punjab Chief Minister for regularisation of their services.
LSO ELECTS NEW BODY: The Local Support Organisation (LSO) elected Malik Ghulam Abbas Maiken as Chairman unanimously in a meet of the organization held here the other day. Other office-bearers who elected are: Vice-Chairman Muhammad Mumtaz, General Secretary Nazir Ahmad, Finance Secretary Qalub Hussain, Joint Secretary Imtiaz Fatima, Press Secretary Afzal Riaz and Coordinator Raja Zainul Abdin.
Training workshop held: The Government Cluster and Support Centre organized a training workshop for PST’s of Thal for imparting their guidance.
The workshop was attended by more than 30 PST’s. The prominent educationist Dr Malik Munir Hussain Kallu was the focal person at the occasion while DTE’s Hafiz Abdul Latif and Madam Shubana addressed on the occasion.
