HAFIZABAD/WARBURTON: A five-day quality education training programme under the auspices of Quaid-i-Azam Academy for Educational Development was concluded in the Government High School No 2, Madina Colony.

The training programme was attended by teachers and headmasters/headmistresses of all the primary schools in the district. District Education Officer elementary Muhammad Tanvir, Head Quaid Syed Muhammad Zaheer and Chairman Muttahida Mahaz Asataza stressed a need for improving quality education so as to bring educational revolution in the country.

Another five-day training workshop of Punjab Education and English Language Initiative (PEELI) has been concluded at Govt Model High School Warburton City.

Seventy five head teachers of government primary schools participated as trainees while Najeeb Arif and Akhtar Sial served as master trainers in this training. The theme of training was "Activity Based Learning" of English language which means maximum involvement of students in the learning process.

District QAED Head Wasim Khan emphasised on the listening, expression and reasoning of students in English at primary level.
