PESHAWAR - The Saddar Division Police during a crackdown on New Year’s eve arrested several youths for aerial firing besides recovering weapons from their possession, an official of the Police Control confirmed here on Saturday.
Giving details, the official said that the raiding police team arrested many suspects and weapons were also recovered from them. The operations were carried out in Hayatabad, Tatara and Tehkal police stations areas.
He said, police patrols also continued in Cantt areas, Saddar Division, City and Rural areas. He said that Peshawar police have also launched a special awareness campaign against aerial firing.
