Advantage India Pakistan team is out of sorts to say the least. They are having a tough tournament with injuries, lack of form and many other issues. Pakistan needed to win all their games during the super four stage to move ahead but they have already lost to Sri Lanka and India might prove an even stronger opposition given their superior form. The home team may have an outside chance of making it to the final if they win their remaining games with big margins and other results go in their favour. It is expected that Shahid Afridi could be dropped for this game due to his poor form with the bat and an average showing with the ball. And that might be the right thing to do as Afridi looks to be a spent force. He might be replaced by Fawad Alam. Skipper Shoaib Malik also might miss out as he isn't fit and is dehydrated. Malik missing out will further deplete Pakistan's batting. Bowling looks ordinary and on these flat pitches it could be even big a disadvantage. Abdul Rauf might also get a chance in place of Wahab Riaz. Nasir Jamshed could also come as a specialist opener for this game. India, in the meanwhile, are flying high as everything seems to be clicking well for them. There were some reports of rifts in the Indian team but the BCCI has rejected such reports and have said that the team is focused and united. For India their batting is clicking and they will be looking to post another big total against a mediocre Pakistani bowling line. Their bowlers might not be having any support from the pitch but they have the ability to at least check the opposition's scoring. MS Dhoni is proving to be an inspiration for his charges and is leading his team from the front. Everything is going right for the Indians and they are expected to come good today as well. All said and done, Sri Lanka will start as favourites but Bangladesh has the ability to spring up a surprise seeing their performance against India.
