In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Hurriyet has said that the authorities are keeping veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in Chashmashahi sub-jail under a pre-planned conspiracy to keep him away from people. According to Kashmir Media Service, the spokesman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the occupation authorities had sent Syed Ali Gilani behind the bar without any justification despite the fact that he had been suffering from various ailments. He said that health of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader might further deteriorate if he was further kept in the jail. He said the puppet administration would be responsible if anything untoward happened to Syed Ali Gilani. The spokesman denounced linking the ongoing protests in the occupied territory with Amarnath Yatra and said that Kashmiris were protesting against the continued human rights violations and killings of youth in the territory by Indian troops. He said that the people of Kashmir would take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical end at all costs.
