Punjab govt committed to rooting out terrorism: Shahbaz

Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif reiterated that the perpetrators involved in suicide bombings at 'Data-Darbar' would be tackled with iron hands adding that government of Punjab has been committed to root out terrorism from the province. Talking to media here on Friday after visiting the injures of 'Data-Darbar' suicide attacks, Chief Minister said that the suicide attacks are vehemently condemnable and the accomplice elements will be taken to their end and Punjab government will not sit to rest until tracing of these terrorists elements. He also appealed to the public to remain peaceful and calm adding that menace of terrorism could be eliminated with the support of the public. Chief Minister Punjab further stated that Punjab government has been committed to provide security to the masses in the province and also urged on the public to sustain unity among them adding that terrorists elements could take advantage from sectarian differences among the masses. Responding to a query regarding security arrangements to the public and for his personal security measures, he said that he considers himself confined with security arrangements, therefore "I used to visits public without any security sometimes". He also pointed that grief and anger among the public has been natural over the terrorists attacks inside such a place, however Punjab government will left no stone unturned to trace these terrorists elements.
