Three injured in grenade attack

PESHAWAR (APP) Three persons sustained injuries when unknown miscreants threw hand grenade on Wapdas vehicle at Bara Qadeem area on Thursday, police said. The employees of Wapda were going for duty to repair an electric fault when reached at Bajri village, some unidentified outlaws attacked, with hand grenade and escaped from the scene. Resultantly, three persons including employees of Wapda sustained wounds and were rushed to hospital for treatment. The officials of Khasadar Force rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The identity of victims could not be immediately ascertained. Meanwhile, the shopkeepers and traders closed down their shutters following the explosion at Bara Qadeem. They chanted slogans for arrest of the culprits.
