Altaf Hussain issue not discussed during Cameron’s Pakistan visit: UK envoy

UK High Commissioner in Islamabad Adam Thompson said on Tuesday that Altaf Hussain’s issue was not discussed during British Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit to Pakistan.
In a media briefing here, Thompson said: “we have received MQM’s memorandum and we are evaluating it.”
The Metropolitan Police is an independent institution, he said, adding that he can’t say anything about the investigations,” he said.
He said that he would not make any comments about Altaf Hussain’s remarks.
Thompson said that Pakistan and Britain agreed to work together against the terrorism.
The British PM visit would prove to be a milestone against terrorism, he concluded.
