FINCA endeavours to strengthen financial skills

LAHORE (PR): FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd in collaboration with International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group), Pakistan Microfinance Network and National Productivity Organization successfully conducted a two-day training programme on financial literacy “Strengthening Your Financial Skills – Micro Enterprises” at a local hotel.
The two-day training programme was attended by a select group of customers of FINCA Microfinance Bank based in Lahore, from various profiles and sectors. The course was designed for micro entrepreneurs who have a desire to expand their existing business. Apart from financial skills, the programme also aimed at strengthening business skills of the small enterprise owners in order for them to plan for the long term.
This training programme helped participants improve their financial skills such as simple bookkeeping, cost-calculation of their products or services and management of cash flows. FINCA provides small term loans to its customers and has also plans to initiate a financial literacy program to educate its customers on the importance of banking and successfully running a profitable venture.
