Altaf talks like Mukti Bahini: Siraj

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq has criticised MQM head Altaf Husain’s recent statement and advised him to play role in restoration of peace in the port city.
Altaf Hussain recently stated that there would be bloodshed in Karachi if he was removed from leading the party.
“On one hand, Altaf Husain claims of his patriotism while on the other hand, he is talking like the Mukti Bahini,” Sirajul Haq said while addressing the JI women conference at Mansoora on Wednesday.
He deplored that there were separate laws for the poor and the elite in the country. “Big politicians can easily leave for Dubai, US or London after committing major crimes but the poor man is held and put in Adyala jail for minor crimes”, he said.
“We want to end this dual system and introduce a system in which all are equal,” he added.–Staff Reporter
