Opp unlikely to join hands with PPP-P in no-trust move against Qaiser

ISLAMABAD    -  The opposition parties may not join hands with PPP-P on its plan to move a no-confidence motion against National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser in the NA Secretariat by leveling allegations of adopting a biased attitude during the budget session. The joint opposition has recently withdrawn no-confidence motion against Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri. Whereas, the PPP-P Co-Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed reservations against Speaker National Assembly for not listening to him during important legislative business. He may soon contact rest of the opposition parties for moving a no confidence motion against Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser. Earlier, the joint opposition had formed a body to contemplate moving a no-confidence motion against the National Assembly on a ‘suitable time’ after the ongoing budget session. The opposition members of the committee including Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, Shazia Marri, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah will decide moving the no-confidence motion. While, the members from Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) will also join the body to share their opinion. The joint opposition around two weeks ago had withdrawn its no-confidence motion against National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri in the NA Secretariat by leveling allegations for adopting a biased attitude in the house.  The no confidence motion had been submitted under Rule 12 of Rules of Business and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly.
