The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik has said that an investigation team has been constituted to investigate the Islamabad bomb blast and results of preliminary investigations will come out in 24 hours. Malik strongly condemned the bombing near Danish Embassy in the capital and said such terrorist acts were meant to tarnish the image of the Muslims. He said a joint investigation team comprising officials of FIA, Police and Intelligence agencies would undertake probe into the blast. Rehman Malik said there was no tip-off of any suicide bomber entering Islamabad, however, the bombing could be a reaction to blasphemous cartoon published in Denmark. He said the blast claimed lives of 2 police personnel.
