32 lads join hockey training camp

ISLAMABAD As many as 32 lads joined the national juniors training camp, which started here on Tuesday at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex, under the control of Head Coach Kawaja Junaid. The team will visit Europe for different hockey series against Spain, Holland and Germany. Head coach, Kawaja Junaid, along with his deputies Danisah Kaleem, Anjum Saeed and Mohammad Ajmal provided training in different two sessions in morning and evening. The boys did the different drills during the training sessions. Video analyst Nadeem Lodhi and Dr Asad were also present during the training sessions. All the players and officials have been accommodated in the Pakistan Sports Boards hostel. Meanwhile, an official of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) told TheNation that selected boys would visit Europe for bilateral series with Spain, Holland and Germany, as the schedule will be finalised later. We will also select our national junior team for Youth Olympic Games 2010, which will be held at Singapore, he added.
