HUNZA (APP) The Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah Tuesday inaugurated the broadcasting station of FM 93 at highest altitude here at Baltit Fort. It will provide services from the altitude of 9,000 feet above sea level and would be the highest broadcasting station in the country. In addition to Urdu, it will also air transmission in Burushaskit, Shana and Wakhi, Hunza's regional languages. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Mehdi Shah assured that FM 93 will continue broadcasting on permanent basis, despite started transmission temporarily in current critical situation created in Hunza Valley. Supervisor of FM 93, the Station Director of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), Islamabd, Ghulam Qadir Baig said that it is a part of PBC strategy, in which we decided to spread our network at remote areas in the country.
