LAHORE - The outgoing Iranian Counsel General, Saeed Kharazi paid a farewell call on Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Tuesday in his assembly champers. MPAs Nauman Ejaz Khan, Ishtiaq Ahmad, Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Ajasam Sharif, Dr Asad Ashraf, Haji Naveed Anjum and Secretary Assembly, Maqsood Malik also attended the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said Punjab government under the dynamic leadership of Shahbaz Sharif, was struggling for economic development of the province. For this purpose, he added, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade has been established to ensure investment friendly environment. The Iranian Counsel General on this occasion lauded the efforts of Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal to strengthen relations between the two countries.
