Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik pointed out that Punjabi Taliban are conspiring bigger terrorists activities in Punjab adding that banned organizations Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Lashkar-e-Taiba are involved in Model Town, Ghari Shahu firing incidents. Briefing Parliament's standing committee on Interior on Wednesday, he informed that banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is involved in Marriot blast, Parade-lane firing incident, GHQ attack, firing at Sri Lankan team and in recent firing incident in Worship places of Ahmedis in Lahore. He also informed that the federal government has asked Punjab government to monitor activities of banned organizations in the province, as Punjabi Taliban are becoming dangerous adding that the government has not yet decided to initiate operation in South Punjab. Federal Minister further informed that he has contacted secretary general Interpol for release of kidnapped three Pakistanis from Israeli high jacking adding that Secretary general Interpol has taken personal interest to free the abducted Pakistanis. FC has been tasked to take action against the elements that used to blackmail the traders in Karachi and to tackle the mafia law enforcement agencies has already gained information to take actions against the involved elements. He also informed that the government is cooperating with US regarding Faisal Shahzad case.
