ISLAMABAD Renowned journalist Talat Hussain and two other Pakistanis who were on Freedom Flotilla would reach Pakistan today as they have been deported from Israel. According to reports, Talat Hussain and other two Pakistani nationals were handed over to Pakistani Ambassador at King Hussain Burdge. Meanwhile, a press release issued here stated plane and tickets are being arranged for the early arrival of Tallat Hussain in Jordan. The Federal Minister for Interior thanked Secretary General Interpol, Ronald K Nobel, Pakistans Ambassador in US Hussain Haqqani and Pakistani Ambassador in Jordan for their valuable efforts. He also directed the FIA to make necessary arrangements with Interpol in Jordan for assistance to facilitate the departure of Talat Hussain and other two Pakistanis via Jordan. Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan during a function here in Islamabad also hoped that Talat and other Pakistani nationals would be released soon. Israel government are blocking out information about the humanitarian workers and we cannot exactly predict the exact timing of their release but we hope that they will soon be released and reach Jordan, the Ambassador said. In a late night development, Rehman Malik confirmed that the Pakistans Ambassador to Jordan had received Talat Hussein and others. Earlier, on US pressure, Israel had agreed to release three Pakistanis and said it would deport them to Jordan in case if Jordan had no objection. On this Pakistani authorities approached the Jordanian government, which allowed Pakistans Ambassador to receive his countrymen at Israel-Jordan border, said the sources. Rehman Malik has said the released Pakistanis would be brought back soon depending upon the first possible flight.
