LAHORE - Traders-friendly and business friendly steps of Chief Minster Shahbaz Sharif have again won the hearts and sympathies of traders community. Qaumi Tajur Ittehad Lahore president Khawaja Azhar Gulshon Tuesday stated that the Punjab CMs assurance to traders regarding the closing of their shops at 9:00pm from June 4 along with resolving of traders other problems was encouraging steps. Addressing the meeting of executive body at his residence, Khawaja Azhar said the public representatives involved in blackmailing the government and plundering masses on the behalf of traders should avoid the confrontational policies and acts. He said currently nation was demanding the unity and due to the present worsening law and order situation, the public representatives should not confuse the traders community because nation was not favouring those elements, which were just focusing on personal benefits. 'No town officer authorised to launch uplift scheme District Coordination Officer Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta has said that no Town Officer (Regulation) is authorised to launch any development scheme without consulting MPA of the area concerned. He issued such directions while presiding over a review meeting of District Coordination Committee held at the Town Hall on Tuesday. MPAs Ch Shahbaz, Ajasam Sharif, Rana Iqbal, Mehr Ishtiaq and Mian Naveed Anjum besides TMOs, TORs and officers of other departments were also present. The DCO said that development funds for various schemes of towns and Ucs had been allocated separately.
