NEW DELHI (NNI) - Afghan-istan said on Wednesday that it would welcome any cooperation from Delhi for the training of its security forces. We will welcome any cooperation (from India) in the fields of training and helping our Afghan national security forces to be able to secure and defend the country, Afghan Defence Minister General Abdul Rahim Wardak told the media here. GenWardak, who is on a 3-day visit to India, met with Indian Defence Minister AK Antony. When asked whether the enhanced cooperation between the two countries could result into Indias supplying military equipment to Afghanistan, General Wardak said: We will be discussing (it).
