SIALKOT - Some unknown thieves broke into the ancient locked house of local senior lawyer Syed Naeem Amjad Shah and dug up the floors of all the rooms and courtyard of the house in search of the hidden treasure from there. The senior lawyer Syed Naeem Amjad Shah told the newsmen that his ancient house had been lying locked up there in Mianapura Mujahid Road locality of Sialkot city for the last two consecutive years. He said that it was famous about that house that the Hindus had buried a big treasure in under ground of this house while leaving Sialkot-Pakistan after partition of Indo-Pak Sub Continent. He said that some unknown thieves broke into the said house late at the last night and the accused dug up all the floors of all the rooms and courtyard of the said house in search of the said imaginary hidden treasure from there. The accused also stole some ancient things, antiques and other old articles from the house and fled away. Next day, some local saw the broken locks of this ancient house and informed the house owners. The lawyer added that it was not confirmed that the thieves found or not the said imaginary hidden treasure from the house. Kotwali police have started investigation with no clue or arrest, in this regard. Replying to a question, the lawyer said that they were also used to listen that the Hindus had buried a treasure in that house but now he himself or any other member of his family had ever tried to dig out this native house in search of that imaginary hidden treasure form there. Local lawyers have expressed grave concern over this incident, demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
