LAHORE - The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Wednesday continued boycott of lower courts in the City in connection with the strike call given by the Punjab Bar Council after the killing of two brothers on last Saturday in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge. The court staff was seen in giving dates to litigants in their cases as judges sat in retiring rooms owing to the boycott of lawyers. Lawyers in a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister had demanded foolproof security arrangements for the lawyers and court staff as well as visitors. A police check post has been set up on the premises of court of District and Sessions Judge Lahore. As per information, the police post is awaiting posting of officials.
