TOBA TEK SINGH - Former district nazim Abdul Sattar said on Wednesday that peace could only be ensured when the US and the United Nations leave double standards regarding human and liberty rights. Addressing a seminar on titled 'Peace in Convent of Jesus and Marry School in Ameer Din Town, he stated that students help maintain religious harmony. Speaking on the occasion, Sister Mariam said everyone should be respected and recognised as a citizen without any bias. Peace activist Ms Azra Roohi said that it was great thing that people were making struggle to ensure peace in the society. Former union council nazim Tariq Saeed linked terrorism to economic inequality. Educationist Waheed Anwar Kokab said that it was the responsibility of civil citizen to promote tolerance.
