Police found four bullet-riddled bodies of a family including three women from a house located in Sadiqabad area on Saturday.
Meanwhile, six persons including a woman were gunned down in different localities of the city, informed police and Rescue 1122.
According to details, the area police after getting information found the dead bodies of four members of a family including a man and his three sisters from a house located in Muslim Colony.
The deceased had sustained multiple bullet injuries, police sources closed to the investigation revealed.
The police said that it was suggested in the initial investigation that a property dispute led to these brutal murders. However, the investigators said that the post-mortem reports would determine the exact motive. Those who murdered identified as Saleem and his three sisters Tahira, Shamim and Sajida. Rescue 1122 sources disclosed that one of the deceased, a female, was shot into her mouth.
The sources said that in the double-storey building, a dead body was found lying in pool of blood in a drawing room while two dead bodies from a room on ground floor while the forth body which was of Saleem was recovered from the storeroom on the upper storey. Later, the rescuers transported the dead bodies to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for autopsy.
All the deceased were belonged to Murree and had been residing for the last many years, said a neighbour Ashraf while talking to media men. They were very noble and apparently had no enmity with anyone, he added.
Talking to reporters, Station House Officer (SHO) PS Sadiqabad Tanveer Warraich said that all the family members were shot dead. He said that property dispute might be the motive behind this gory incident. The police found no weapon of bullet shells from the crime scene, the SHO said. He said that the police would broaden the investigation to catch the real culprits.
On the other hand, two men were killed at Lehtrar within the limits of PS Kotli Sattian.
According to details, SHO Akbar Abbas said that Arshad Mehmood was going home along with his nephew Jameel on a motorcycle when two masked men opened indiscriminate fires on them, killing them on the spot. He said that immediate cause behind the double murder could not be ascertained.
A man namely Rasheed-ur-Rehman was also murdered by unknown killers in Dhoke Lakhan. The area police informed that Rasheed was shot dead by two unknown armed persons riding a bike, leaving him dead on the spot. A murder case was registered.
In yet another incident seemed to be honour killing, a man shot dead his sister in the jurisdiction of PS Rawat. The area police said that Shakeel Masood, a resident of Pind Jhatla, shot dead his sister Komal Masood over some domestic dispute. The police have registered a case against Shakil. The dead body was brought at DHQ for postmortem. 
Similarly, two Afghan nationals were assassinated in the area of PS Naseerabad. An investigator Javed Iqbal said that two brothers identified as Ghani Khan and Aslam, the scrape dealers, have enmity in Afghanistan.
“Their enemy Agha Hussain, also an Afghan national, traced them here and shot them dead” he said. He said the culprits managed to escape after committing crime. Case has been registered against the killer while further investigation was underway, he added.
