LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah has said that the law enforcers have identified killers of MPA Rana Shamshad Ahmad, his son Ahmad Shahbaz and friend and every means would be pressed into service to arrest them at the earliest.
Talking to media men on Monday, the law minister said that the culprits would find no escape from the law no matter wherever they hide themselves.
Rana Shamshad and others were shot dead near College Road on Sunday morning. As per medical reports Rana Shamshad received 11 bullets, five in the head and six in the belly. His son received three bullets all in the chest while the third one Sheikh Mahmood Sham received five bullets, all in the head. All three had lost their life on the spot.
In its preliminary investigations, the police have found political enmity behind the incident. In the FIR, including a local leader of the PML-Q, eight persons have been nominated and the police are conducting raids to apprehend the accused.
