Rawalpindi - Two robbers pretending themselves to be police officers on Monday entered a house in Teeli Mohala of Waris Khan and looted cash and gold, sources informed The Nation on Monday. Police have launched hunt but failed in tracing the robbers.

According to sources, two robbers entered the house of a citizen Imran at Teeli Mohala and impersonated themselves as police officers and asked the house owner they wanted to carry out search in his house. “The robbers during search stole cash and gold armaments and fled the scene,” sources said. Station House Officer Police Station Waris Khan Raja Rashid, when contacted, confirmed the incident, saying two robbers entered a house in disguise of police officers and stolen gold and cash and run away. He said that police were making efforts to arrest them.
