PESHAWAR - An officer of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was gunned down by unidentified armed assailants in Bannu on Saturday. According to sources, the incident occurred when the CTD officer Asif has come home in Bannu from intelligence duty in Razmak to spend vacations. The suspects fled from the scene while the police have conducted search operations to arrest them.
