Rawalpindi - Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi Aamir Aqiq Khan held an open court at Tehsil Office Raja Bazaar here on Tuesday.
He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Waqas Sikandari, Registrar City Abbas Zulqarnain, Registrar Cantt Tariq Ameer and other officers of land revenue department.
During the open court, DC listened to public complaints against land revenue department officers and issued on the spot orders to resolve the issues of the public.
He directed the officers and officials of Land Revenue Department to adopt coronavirus SOPs. He said all the staff and officers of the Tehsil Office should remain present in their offices to entertain litigants. He also directed the authorities concerned to pay attention towards the cleanliness of city and to take action against land mafia and encroachments. DC Amir Aqiq Khan also said the development schemes should be completed within due time.
He ordered the officers of the Tehsil Office to hold open court every month to resolve public issues. Later, DC and others paid a visit to Shelter Home at Raja Bazaar.
