LAHORE - Punjab Assembly will resume its session today at 3 pm and there is a greater likelihood of its meeting taking place in the assembly chamber instead of its stairs as was the case last week when assembly doors were shut on the Speaker and members reportedly under instructions from Governor's House. Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal said on Sunday he will hold the session in assembly chamber and reiterated that those responsible for locking the assembly building would be punished according to law after the completion of inquiry. Earlier, assembly was opened for the Speaker and other staff on Saturday. Special Secretary Punjab Assembly Aftab Maqbool Joya is conducting an inquiry into the incident and is likely to submit his report in a couple of days. One-dish ban to continue The Punjab government has not lifted the ban on serving more than one dish during marriage functions. According to a spokesman the rule of one dish would remain continue throughout the province.
