Prof Ibrahim expresses reservations over progress in dialogue

PESHAWAR- A member of Taliban talks committee Professor Ibrahim today expressed reservations over the progress in government's dialogue with Taliban.
Talking to journalists, Ibrahim complained that the government had failed to form a committee that held meaningful dialogue with Taliban. He said the possibility of progress in the talks was vanishing due to absence of a trustworthy government committee. The Taliban negotiator said he was in contact with Maulana Yousuf  Shah and hopeful for progress in dialogue. He said that the peace process could move forward if the government supported it seriously. The professor said that he was trying to maintain trust between the two sides. Answering a question, he replied "We have not talked with the Taliban Shura about extension in ceasefire."
