The Pakistan cricket team continues to hold top position in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20I rankings on Wednesday.

Pakistan leads with 130 points, followed by Australia with 126 points on the table, while India secures third position in the rankings.

Afghanistan has surprisingly able to maintain a place at number eight in the rankings whereas; the top seven positions remained the same.

Sri Lanka dropped to ninth position after losing four points in the updated rankings. ICC places Bangladesh on number ten in new rankings.

Last year, Pakistan first topped the T20I rankings for the first time under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmed in the shortest format.
