The 47th meeting of the International Hockey Federation Statutory Congress is likely to take place from May 19th to 23rd, 2021 in New Delhi. The top officials of the Pakistan Hockey Federation are likely to take up the issue of reviving hockey ties with India on the sidelines of the meeting.
It is incomprehensible that why Pakistan keep running after and inducing India to resume sports ties such as cricket and hockey although we have just refused to have trade links with arch-rival until the Kashmir issue is not resolved for good which is in fact, an appropriate decision.
Is reviving hockey ties more important to resume trade with India just for entertainment for the masses of both countries although resuming trade with India is equally beneficial for both countries and its masses but we should intact only one agenda on all the platforms; to resolve the Kashmir issue and nothing else only then we could revive all ties.
Play smartly not only in the field of sports but in the field of foreign affairs as well.
