KARACHI - Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has announced that all katchi abadis will be leased out to their residents and a hospital would be constructed at Badr Chowk in Metrovile SITE. The roads in dilapidated condition will be repaired and all problems of the masses will be solved on preferential basis, Shah assured a crowd of hundreds of supporters. PPP District West Chapter hosted the public meeting where PPP Karachi President Faisal Abedi and West Chapter President Abid Satti also spoke. Advisor to Provincial Minister Ali Nawaz Shah, Rashid Rabbani and special assistant to CM Waqar Mehdi were also present. Qaim Ali Shah said that his visit to the area was aimed at honouring the promise that slain Chairperson Benazir Bhutto had made to people. We believe in our slogan Roti, Kaprha and Makan and we shall strive to provide these basic facilities for people, he said adding that water shortage in Labour Colonies would also be overcome soon. Apart from this, Faisal Abedi said that all the dilapidated roads would be repaired and carpeted within three months. He assured the jobless people that they would be awarded employment on merit. In the last, he vowed that PPP would leave no stone unturned to save Pakistan and keep its integrity intact.
