Recently, a police officer in Nowshera was killed in a suicide attack. This incident has once again highlighted the serious security threat posed to the police and other law enforcement agencies. As the police have been performing exceptionally well in the conflict areas and contributed a lot to curtail terrorism, they as a result have been made a priority target. So, it is imperative that steps should be taken to provide the necessary resources and equipment to police personnel to combat terrorism and also enhance their own security.
