Lahore  - PR - The International Ulema and Mashaikh Council has flayed the government for its failure to protect life and property of the people at the hand of terror activities being carried out by Taliban.
IUMC chairman Syed Tasawarul Hassan Gilani stated Friday that by killing innocent people and attacking religious sites of the minorities, Taliban are portraying a wrong picture of Islam which in fact is a religion of peace and tolerance.
Syed Tasawarul Hassan Gilani said Islam protects rights of everyone including minorities, but the attack by Taliban on the religious places proved that they have no religion and ideology except taking lives of the innocent people.  Syed Tasawar called upon the people at the helm of the affairs to take the nefarious elements to accounts as therein lay survival of the country.
