‘Read Eye Hotel Software’ installed

KARACHI - Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Allah Dino Khawaja has said that ‘Read Eye Hotel Software’ has been installed at 20 key hotels of Karachi, ahead of completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) while similar software would soon be installed at hotels in Hyderabad and Sukkur.

He was presiding over a follow-up meeting held on the CPEC security here at Central Police Office on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by large number of senior police officials, including additional IGs of Special Branch, Administration, Karachi, Headquarters, RRF and Finance.

The IGP also directed the district SSPs to hold meetings with the representatives of business chambers and industrial zones and ensure them that sufficient measures were being put in place for the security of foreigners; both Chinese and other foreigners who would be working on CPEC or other projects under the standard operating system.

The IGP also directed the DIG RRF to submit audit security report on the CPEC projects after every fortnight and also directed the district SSPs to submit a similar report after every month.
